How do I take Sovereignty from another player Alliance?
For Sovereignty Levels 1 through 3
First we need to understand that control towers come in 3 flavours - small, medium and large.
Secondly there are now 5 Sovereignty levels, if Sovereignty 1, 2 or 3 is in effect then the following applies.
This is the same as the current sovereignty system. If a large control tower exists in the solarsystem then you cannot use medium or small control towers to gain sovereignty. If 5 small control towers hold sovereignty then a single medium or large will take sovereignty. In this case size matters :)
You can
- Match the number of control towers to nullify sovereignty (no one holds sovereignty)
- Hold the majority of control towers to take over sovereignty
- Kill all enemy control towers and erect one of your own to take sovereignty
Please remember that a newly erected control tower will not hold a claim for sovereignty until after downtime on the 7th day.
